We are excited to announce that we are just 30 days away from our 11th Annual Bison Sale, scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025. This highly anticipated event will showcase a fantastic selection of bison born and raised right here in the Midwest, offering something for every buyer. Whether you’re in the market for calves, yearlings, bred or open cows, or bulls (ranging from 2-year-olds to mature bulls), our sale has it all!
Consignments Now Open!
Open consignments are accepted until Monday, December 8, 2025. If you're interested in consigning animals, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Ernie Fischer at 307-214-2981 or Amanda Fischer at 307-287-1617. We’re here to assist you with the process and answer any questions you may have.

Important Registration Information:
All buyers must provide a letter of funds via email to afischer@fischerclerking.com by 5:00 PM (CT) on Friday, December 12, 2025. No exceptions will be made.
If you’re new to our services, you’ll need to create a username online. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to enter the auction. Bidding will not be permitted without a letter of funds.

Northstar Bison New Supply Needs
Northstar Bison market and demand is growing, so is our processing capacity, so we're needing to seek more bison supply of select kinds.
We're in search of bison in a few different classes:
• 100% Grass-fed Yearling & 2-3 yr old Open Bison Heifers
o Looking to buy quality heifers that need one more season of grazing to finish.
o Purchased live by the lb.
o Quality will be considered.
o Affidavit signature required
• 100% Grass-fed Bison Culls for slaughter
o Looking for open cows and bulls that are ready for market.
o Purchased on the rail by the lb.
o Slaughter openings beginning in Jan 2026.
o Affidavit signature required
• NON 100% Grass-fed bison for slaughter (not for NSB label)
o Looking for open cows and bulls that are ready for market.
o Purchased on the rail by the lb.
o Slaughter openings beginning in Jan 2026.
o We have traditionally only purchased 100% grassfed bison, but due to local demand that is not seeking 100% grassfed claim, we are opening slots for grain fed animals to maintain this market and reserve our grassfed supply for other accounts. Looking to buy culls mainly but our rail price may be attractive for primes as well.
Our ideal sourcing region would include east river North & South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Eastern Nebraska, & Canada.

Summer Help Internship
I’m trying to find Bison Ranchers that may need part time summer help. My name is Rylan. I will be 16 years old this February and currently taking Agri-science class. I have been fascinated with Bison for years and plan on going to South Dakota State University to get animal science degree with minor in Bison Studies. I am looking at trying to get some experience on a Bison Ranch. Is anybody looking for help or internship that I could do in summer of 2026?
