DTBA 2026 Summer Conference 🦬🌾

The Dakota Territory Buffalo Association is excited to invite our members to the 2026 Summer Conference—an experience designed to bring together bison producers, partners, and community through education, connection, and culture.

This year’s conference offers a unique blend of agritourism, practical bison production insight, and meaningful cultural engagement.

Friday, August 21 (Late Afternoon & Evening):  Enjoy a bison tour with Bruce & Corrine Prins at their Rocking P Ranch  followed by a delicious bison tender tails dinner 

Overnight accommodations will be at the Dakota Magic Casino & Hotel (approximately 25 miles away), where attendees can enjoy comfortable lodging and optional golf ⛳.

Saturday, August 22
We’ll travel to Sisseton to visit the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate tribal bison herd. This portion of the conference will include a herd tour along with cultural presentations from tribal youth, followed by lunch 🌿.
