Dakota Territory Buffalo Association Marks 30th Anniversary with Conference & Celebration Featuring “Girlz Gone Wild” Bred Heifer Performance Class & Black Hills Buffalo Thunder Bull Show & Sale with Live Judging

Deadwood, South Dakota — February 6-7, 2026 — The Dakota Territory Buffalo Association (DTBA) is proud to announce its 30th Anniversary Conference & Celebration, taking place in the historic town of Deadwood, SD. This milestone event honors three decades of dedication to the buffalo industry, its producers, and the culture surrounding it.

  • The Girlz Gone Wild Bred Heifer Performance Class — Celebrating excellence among bred heifers in a performance competition completely consistent data from our host ranch ~ Heartland Bison.

  • The Black Hills Buffalo Thunder Bull Show & Sale with Live Judging — A premier showcase where leading buffalo bulls are judged live, then offered for sale. This two-day event provides producers, buyers, and enthusiasts with a chance to see top-quality genetics in action and to engage in important industry networking.
