HEALTH REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL INCOMING BULL ENTRIES Consignors are responsible for all testing & paperwork to export from South Dakota. All Bulls will be required to test: TB, Brucellosis, & Passed Semen Test All animals must have an acceptable EID or metal ID that correlates with their Sale ear tag and both numbers must be noted on the health papers. BLACK HILLS BUFFALO THUNDER SHOW & SALE Animals entered into the 2027 Black Hills Buffalo Thunder will be delivered as per instructions on the entry form with health paperwork being given at time of delivery. Live Judging will be performed onsite Friday, Feb 11th 2027 from noon-5 pm. The scoring will be based on conformation - all consignors will be provided with scoring rubric per the judges upon registration. The results will be announced prior to the sale Saturday, Feb 13th 2027. Any death loss incurred at any time during the course of Black Hills Buffalo Thunder is at the consignor’s own risk and no compensation will be given for any reason. All entry fees are non-refundable (unless class is overfilled and consignors are asked to scale back entries) and non-negotiable. All auction animals will sell individually. All animals will be sold by video/photo only and will not be run through the sale ring. LIABILITY The consignor assumes all responsibilities in regards to, but not limited to, the above terms and conditions of this show and sale. The DTBA acts only as agents and will assume NO responsibility in the event of injury or death to any animal or for any discrepancy between the buyers and the consignors. Any death loss incurred at any time during the course of Black Hills Buffalo Thunder is at the consignor’s own risk and no compensation will be given for any reason. All entry fees are non-refundable and non-negotiable. The Judges and/or Show Committee, Sifting Committee (appointed by the DTBA Board of Directors and the Show Chairman) reserve the right to inspect any animals and may ultimately disqualify/remove any animals for any reason they deem necessary. Consignors are encouraged to select females that represent the quality, genetics, and production goals of their operation. 2. Entry Fee & Commission The entry fee is $75 per head. DTBA will retain a 5% commission on the gross sale price. 3. Marketing & Promotion DTBA will professionally market participating consignors and their female groups throughout the Fall and Winter leading up to the sale. Consignors agree to provide requested photos, videos, genetic testing data, performance data, and other promotional materials in a timely manner. 4. Sale Format The sale will be conducted by Quality Auction Services (QAS) on February 13, 2027. Females will remain at their home ranches through sale day. Buyers will bid for the first choice from the consignor’s entered group. The winning buyer will select their females at the time of pickup from the seller’s operation following the sale. 5. Health & Transportation & Ear Tags The seller is responsible to test: TB, Brucellosis & for providing all required health papers and documentation necessary for interstate transport. The buyer is responsible for transportation and all associated costs. All animals must have an acceptable EID or metal ID that correlates with their Sale ear tag and both numbers must be noted on the health papers. 6. Pickup Purchased females must be picked up from the seller’s ranch within seven (7) days of the sale, unless other arrangements are mutually agreed upon between buyer and seller.
