Time Is Running Out – We Need Everyone’s Help!

Tell Congress to Support Bison!
The United States congress is on August recess for only one more week. This is the perfect time to reach out and tell your congressional leaders that the United States’ National Mammal, the American Bison, must be protected in the next Farm Bill.
We can protect American Bison through two main actions:
- $2 million in funding to finalize, manufacture and distribute a vaccine for Malignant Catarrhal Fever (MCF) for bison.
- Passage of the Truth in Buffalo Labeling Act, ending deceptive marketing of water buffalo as bison.
Timing is everything. Congress reconvenes in just a week. They are finalizing the Farm Bill now and need to hear from you as soon as possible about how to support the American Bison.
We have created web pages for our two leading priorities, with issue overviews, sample letters of support, and contact information for members of congress.
