Welcome to the Young Guns page! Here you will find information on the current class of Young Guns Performance Tested Breeding Bulls.

The Process:

The Young Guns Performance Tested Bull Class is considered to be one of the Top Bison Breeding Bull Sales in the Nation. Each year, Ranchers from across the United States and Canada bring in top tier breeding bull prospects to be raised in a balanced format on a neutral host ranch site. Data on each participating bull is collected to determine Average Daily Gain ability on range and also on a feed ration. Bulls are Ribeye Ultrasounded and semen tested to determine carcass measurements and breeding soundness as well. In the end, only the best of the group end up at the sale! This year, the bulls ran at Heartland Bison Ranch in Rugby, ND. Please feel free to contact Kevin Leier @ 701-208-0440 if you have any questions about the bulls in this year’s offering.
